is a contemporary modern dancer, dance improviser, and martial artist from Mount Vernon, NY. She currently lives in Seattle, WA training in tai chi and kung-fu with Seattle Sil Lum, dancing with Michele Miller/ Catapult Company, and performs her dance improvisational practice at local spots; such as Stoneway Cafe's Open Mic and the University District Farmer's Market. FIn 2017, Emma studied with Nita Little and others in regards to somatic communication. In 2019, Emma taught contact at Velocity's Seattle Festival of Dance Improvisation. In May 2015, Emma graduated from Bard College with a BA in Dance. At Bard College, she had the opportunity to perform works by Zvi Gotheiner, Beth Gill, and Bill T. Jones. Her dance education includes contact improvisation with Amii LeGendre and modern technique with Bard's New York Live Arts Partnership. Since arriving in Seattle, she has performed works by Michele Miller, Stephanie Liapis, Maya Soto + Nico Tower, Corie Befort, and Christian Swenson.
